Last night around 11 PM the A and W at the train station in Vancouver the White 4Oish officer bought the White man 40ish who was sitting outside the restaurant on the sidewalk when I walked in a meal he did not buy anything for himself when he exited I thanked him for doing a nice thing. The fat brown skin woman who seemed to be running the place had insulted me a number of times for no reason so I finally told her off loudly no one took her side. One table had 6 or so young Indo guys that were joined by another lots of gang talk when I exited I noticed they did not seem to have any food and the guy closest to the door had a look on his face that was, "Whoa this is serious have to fret and think.". The VPD officer when he showed up stopped in front of the restaurant for a few minutes pulled ahead 10 ft and parked walked behind the restaurant came back a few minutes later came into the restaurant with the poor man. When he had pulled up the young White guy near me working on his laptop saluted the officer. The fattie who seemed to be running the place mentioned above told the officer when he was at the till that I had called her a piece of shit without any prompting, he ignored her and didn't seem concerned about me at all the other customers a few that had been making comments about me did not mention me or crime while the officer was inside their comments after he left about anything were 80% less than before his appearance. I had the two Beyond Meat burgers and a milk this simple transactions seemed complicated for the two Indo employees to process and ring up.

610 Cambie and 620 Cambie Vancouver most of the bottom first floor windows are boarded up. No lights on in the building except for the hallway lights and the front door area of the 610 building where the large security guard was located. The building is beside the parking lot right behind the QE Theater. I saw no one enter or exit over 10 minutes.

The temporary modular housing at 610 and 620 Cambie St has two buildings with a total of 98 studio homes. All homes are self-contained dwellings with a private bathroom and kitchen. A total of 12 homes are wheelchair accessible.

This is a supportive housing building. BC Housing selected MPA Society as the non-profit operator for this site.

The temporary modular housing will not delay or impede the delivery of a new Vancouver Art Gallery.

The buildings are named Larwill Place, after Al Larwill. He was the original caretaker of the Cambie Grounds, a park formerly located on the site in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Although a squatter himself, Larwill cared for the grounds and the athletes who competed at the park. His shack was the living room for the grounds and any person playing could enter his home, which was never locked, and leave their belongings for safekeeping.

At Larwill Place, MPA will continue to keep the doors open to welcome and care for the community.

Walking on the street that passes by the community garden in Strathcona aka DTES yesterday in daylight cpl of short haired White guys one wearing a Herschel backpack gave me the gears for no reason. I shoved one of them hard in front of the Asian woman at the bus stop on the north side of the street mouthed the two twinks off they stayed silent the vocalizations from them stopped the Asian lady indicated her approval the bus pulled up I bade her well and she boarded.

Saw some Gaza terrorist supporters walking Downtown with their signs supporting the genocide of the 7 million citizens of Israel I loudly voiced my support for Israel the last person in the group a White female finally made a personal comment so I made a loud personal comment back.

Mouthed off the shrimpy Indo front desk clerk here at 7228 Westminster Hwy for insulting me in front of 20 customers this morning around 7:10 AM. His witty and weenie reply was I outrank you to which I replied give me a order then. The guy told a few customers he wanted their help to get the RCMP to turf me they demurred saying they had a plane to catch second time he has done this in a month trying to get clients to lie about me to get me evicted previously he whined to the general manager to get me turfed but was over ruled reminds of Peewee Herman in that Cheech And Chong movie but less butch this place has video security cameras none of which show me doing anything wrong the weasly twink once ordered me to take off my jacket just another lowlife immigrant. He is Surrey H.A. and sells pot. He and his work buds insult me then when 2 tougher looking Indo's showed up and mill around they ask me to back them up in a scrap I firmly said, "No." Half the time they tell customers they call police the other half of the time they say they don't call police think I will extend my stay the insect says I am here to spy on them for the RCMP if that was true tard you would not be talking about drugs and crime EYEROLL. For the second time I peeled off a Utopia sticker off the pole at side of the building the sticker was facing the back parking lot they sell various illegal drugs. Been doing a lot of walking in Richmond only seen 4 drug stickers for drugs other than pot two of the stickers were on the same spot on the same poll here at the same Inn. Minoru Park behind this place is cool little pond and playing fields rabbits and squirrels a few trees and the old Minoru Chapel where Rob And Marina were married 38 years ago salute to them still going strong all credit to her I am sure his old place from high school on No.3 Rd on the Blair farm property is gone hope his Mom is still around.

Did I mention the front desk clerk says he is getting heat in Whalley turn it up to blow torch!

Around midnight last night in the Landsdowne Park parking lot north side was surprised to see a man in black pointing at a man that was on his knees their were 3 cars around with running lights on that seemed to be a sort of perimeter I hung a left onto 3 Rd to check it out the cars moved around a bit the two young Asian men all in black walked towards one of the vehicles one made a short comment looked a bit worried/serious but neither was angry or asking for help. Their were other cars at the mall but all parked near the middle of the mall facing No. 3 Rd.

Don't know what is happening by the U.V.A wine place 900 Seymour St. 3 times just walking by twice by the same old eyetye but the first time he was with a bud told to take my ass elsewhere. Last time two men were nearby just north of where eyetye spoke one Asian young man had a electrical cattle prod in his hand and warned me I asked if he had one of those with a knife extension. I was just walking by on the Dunsmuir St side that place used to be a gay bar way back I did some work at the Staples store across the street helping set it up when they opened up decades ago. There used to be a panhandler hippy type that was a lookout for whoever there a few years back I was waiting for a cab that took awhile and we got to talking the ex con guy I ran into several times also hung out on the sidewalk there and at 1190 Burnaby St https://groups.google.com/g/van.general/c/vrSUu9FVuYI/m/iszkhXB_BgAJ

RCMP are investigating a targeted shooting in Coquitlam, B.C., that left a man hospitalized with critical injuries on Saturday afternoon.

It's the third shooting in as many days in the Lower Mainland suburb, about 24 kilometres east of Vancouver, according to police.

Coquitlam RCMP received a report of a shooting near Glen Drive and Westwood Street shortly after 4 p.m. PT on Saturday, police said in an evening news release.

"Responding officers located one man suffering from life-threatening injuries who has since been transported to the hospital," said the release. "Two suspects were seen running away from the shooting scene."

RCMP say the shootings are all targeted and involve the same group of people, but say it's too early to know whether or not they may be connected to the Lower Mainland gang conflict. (Shane McKichan)

Photos and video of the scene reviewed by CBC News shows police tape and vehicles blocking the driveway of a multi-unit residence near the 3700-block of Primrose Lane. At least one other scene on a neighbouring street was surrounded with police tape and pylons.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area while they investigate.

The shooting follows two others since Thursday in the same "tight" area, Cpl. Alexa Hodgins said in an interview Saturday night.

On Thursday, police responded after multiple reports of shots fired at a vehicle and suspects brandishing a firearm near Johnson Street and Glen Drive, about a kilometre west of Saturday's shooting.

Two suspects were located and no injuries have been reported, according to an RCMP release on Thursday.

The next evening, about four kilometres northeast of Thursday's incident, RCMP were called to a second reported shooting near David Avenue and Mitchell Street around 10:30 p.m. PT.

No one was injured, RCMP said in a statement on Friday night.

It is too early to say whether the shootings are related to the ongoing Lower Mainland gang conflict, Hodgins said.

"We are actively investigating any avenue which could potentially mean that these shootings are all linked together," she said.

Coquitlam RCMP Insp. Darren Carr Coquitlam said the incidents are "targeted and involving a small group of individuals."

"We understand that these last three days have been incredibly stressful to the community and we want to assure the public that our officers are working tirelessly to advance all of these investigations," he said in a Saturday news release. "Public safety is our top priority."

Anyone with information or dashcam footage of any of the areas around the shootings is asked to contact RCMP.

Up to 700 people turned out to a public forum in Surrey on Saturday aimed at addressing a string of shootings and extortion letters.

The event was organized by the Vedic Hindu Cultural Society of BC, and follows growing concerns about an extortion racket targeting Surrey and Fraser Valley business owners.

Extortion threats leave South Asian communities shaken in Edmonton, B.C., Ontario
There have been numerous shootings in the Surrey area in recent weeks, including one in White Rock that police have explicitly linked to the extortion letters.

Speaking to attendees, Officer in Charge of the Surrey RCMP Assistant Commissioner Brian Edwards pledged to stop the extortion problem.

Edwards told the meeting that police still weren’t sure whether a string of shootings in recent weeks were linked to the extortion racket.

He said police were further challenged by the fact that some people have paid the extortioners.

Police have assigned 200 officers to the case, who have logged more than 20,000 hours since October, Edwards said.

The home of Cultural Society president Satish Kumar’s son was targeted in a Dec. 27 shooting.

“There has been lots of gunfire, drive-by shootings and extortion letters going to the community right now,” Kumar told Global News Morning BC, ahead of the forum.

“A lot of us are scared right now to not report to the police, RCMP, so we wanted to get the community together and give the message to the community: Don’t be scared, come to the front and try to help the RCMP.”

Police in Surrey and Abbotsford issued public warnings in November after business owners began to receive threatening letters.

Global News obtained a copy of one of the letters, which claimed to be from an “Indian gang” and demanded $2 million in “protection money” or the recipient would face retaliation.

In a leaked Abbotsford police memo confirmed by Global News, investigators said they believed the suspects were linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, based in India.

On Dec. 28, Surrey RCMP arrested two men in their 20s in connection with extortion attempts in the Lower Mainland. They were released without charge pending further investigation.

Kumar said he has heard of numerous incidents potentially linked to the extortion scheme, “but not reported to police.”

“So we are trying, the community to get together, and report to the police so the police can act more faster,” he said.

Police, community leaders, politicians and journalists have all been invited to attend the 2 p.m. forum at the Reflections Banquet Hall at 6638 152A St. in Surrey.

Way to go super rich Mark Zuckerberg the Instagram company you own helps sell products illegal in your homeland and Canada. Did you all read about the guy on a airplane high on mushrooms that almost crashed a plane these druggies are hooped.

Alaska Airlines off-duty pilot sitting in the jump seat on flight 2059 tried shutting off the planes engines mid-flight.

PORTLAND, Ore. — An off-duty airline pilot riding in an extra cockpit seat on a Horizon Air flight said, "I'm not OK," just before trying to cut the engines midflight and later told police he recently took psychedelic mushrooms as his mental health worsened, according to charging documents made public Tuesday.

State prosecutors in Oregon filed 83 counts of attempted murder against Alaska Airlines pilot Joseph David Emerson, 44, on Tuesday just before he appeared in court, with his attorney, Noah Horst, entering not guilty pleas on his behalf.

Federal prosecutors meanwhile charged Emerson with interfering with a flight crew, which can carry up to 20 years in prison.

According to a probable cause statement filed in Multnomah County Circuit Court, Emerson told Port of Portland police after his arrest that he was struggling with depression, a friend recently died and he took psychedelic mushrooms about 48 hours before he attempted to cut the engines. He also said he had not slept in more than 40 hours, the document said.

Police reported that Emerson did not appear to be intoxicated at the time of the interview. In a statement Tuesday, Alaska Airlines, which owns Horizon, said neither the gate agents nor flight crew noticed signs of impairment that might have barred him from the flight. An FBI agent wrote in a probable cause affidavit in support of the federal charge that Emerson "said it was his first-time taking mushrooms."

While psilocybin is illegal in most of the country — Oregon legalized it for adults this year — the Food and Drug Administration in 2018 designated it a "breakthrough therapy" that might be used for mental health conditions or substance use disorders.

Horizon Air Cockpit Emergency
Joseph David Emerson, left, 44, is arraigned Tuesday in Multnomah County Circuit Court in Portland, Ore.

Dave Killen, The Oregonian/Pool
Emerson of Pleasant Hill, California, was arrested Sunday night after the flight crew reported he attempted to shut down the engines on a Horizon Air flight from Everett, Washington, to San Francisco while riding in the extra seat in the cockpit. The plane was diverted to Portland, where it landed safely with more than 80 people on board.

The FBI affidavit said Emerson, who was authorized to ride in the cockpit's jump seat, made casual conversation with the captain and first officer when the plane was between Astoria, Oregon, and Portland, before trying to grab two red handles that would have activated the plane's fire suppression system and cut off fuel to its engines.

After what the flight crew described as a brief struggle lasting only about 30 seconds, Emerson left the cockpit, the FBI said.

Flight attendants placed Emerson in wrist restraints and seated him in the rear of the aircraft but, as the plane descended, he tried to grab the handle of an emergency exit, according to the document. A flight attendant stopped him by placing her hands on top of his, it said.

Listen now and subscribe: Apple Podcasts | Google Podcasts | Spotify | RSS Feed | Omny Studio
Alaska Airlines said Tuesday that Emerson was relieved of all duties.

The captain and first officer told police after the plane landed that Emerson said, "I'm not OK," just before he reached up to pull the handles. They were able to stop him before he pulled the handles all the way down, the affidavit said.

Emerson walked calmly to the back of the plane after being told to leave the cockpit and told a flight attendant, "You need to cuff me right now or it's going to be bad," the affidavit said. Another flight attendant heard him saying, "I messed everything up" and "tried to kill everybody."

According to the affidavit, he asked police if he could waive his right to an attorney: "I'm admitting to what I did. I'm not fighting any charges you want to bring against me, guys."

He also told them he thought he was having a nervous breakdown and said, "I pulled both emergency shut off handles because I thought I was dreaming and I just wanna wake up," according to the affidavit.

Pilots are required to undergo psychological screening as part of their regularly scheduled medical exams. There have been crashes that investigators believe were deliberately caused by pilots. Authorities said the co-pilot of a Germanwings jet that crashed in the French Alps in 2015 had practiced putting the plane into a dive.

Emerson took his most recent exam in September, Federal Aviation Administration records show — but according to the charging documents, he had long been struggling with depression.

Mark Angelos, a senior flight instructor at the NRI Flying Club in Concord, California, has known Emerson for more than 10 years. Emerson used to be president of the club and designed its safety program, Angelos said.

Angelos said that when he and other club members initially heard the news, they couldn't believe that a person they saw as a family man who loved his children could be accused of such a thing.

He expressed his shock. "It just couldn't have been our Joe."

Ohhh and they know Jay as well. The guy with the shaved head on both sides of his head a Indo specifically told me in the early morning hours today not to make a bad review of his employer while at the same time other employees are asking me to leave. The building has video security cameras if I am doing anything wrong which I am not. Shaved head Indo and peeweee asked me to back them up in a fight the night two Indo's with plain brown jackets identical were hanging across the street for hours the 2 duds had been insulting me then you want me to back you up in a fight? None of their conversations are interesting none the complimentary business computer is in the lobby. Get real. Indo gangstas are shooting up buildings and extorting businessmen for $2M buildings torched in Edmonton you think Surrey H.A. can protect you or Jeremy LOL. The ppl at the continental breakfast today made it clear they thought the staff were idiots the staff say their we don't call police routine then tell ppl they do they gossip about the customers who knows if it is true some are anti-gay yet for some reason gays frequent the place though the building and website do not encourage gay business who knows what they say in languages other than English. Young White woman customer claimed she was Quebec H.A. in the early morning then bent forward so I could see her arse give it a 10. Ppl drop by at 4 AM just to hang out they are not customers. Insomnia sucks. To be fair if you want waffles/coffee/ tea/ sausages/eggs/yogurt a small selection of fruit always includes bananas it is included in the price of a room a continental breakfast not bad at all. One of the employees saved the day once when a Asian customer walked away from the waffle maker preventing a small waffle fire. I worked briefly at a waffle making place on Annacis Island they let the employees take home the imperfect waffles even then I dumped yads of defective ones in the bin. Ppl would fill their Hyundai's with garbage bags of them have not ate a waffle since. The owner had a Porsche tres cool.
